Hi folks:I have shot some test stuff and have loaded the neo 2.5 - booster to my pc.Now, I am not sure what to do next.I have figured out how to view the footage using the avccam viewer, but I don't know exactly what steps need to be taken to edit video.I have seen people on the forum talk about converting, then editing, etc.Without telling me how to use the software itself, which I am working on, can someone tell me what are the steps to get the footage to a place where I can edit it.I can't seem to find it on the computer with Edius, only on the SDHC card itself, and I have copied it. Is this a format, compatibility issue? Thanks! I'm a little confused.

You DID use AVCCAM Viewer to copy the footage to your computer? But now you can't find it?Easy answer, go to the Settings in AVCCAM Viewer and then HDD settings-this will show you where Panasonic placed yer stuff. It will be buried in the same directory structure as on the SDHC card.BUT, that is probably not a good place for it. Ideally, your footage should be on a separate drive from the 'c' drive-a separate partition on the same drive doesn't count. But, if you are using native AVCCAM, it may not be a big deal.re: converting footage. Are you planning on color correcting, effects, green screen?

Then you should convert to Canopus HQ using the utility on the GV/Canopus support web site. If you are just going to chop it up and spit it out again with minimal effects, using the native AVC should be just fine.If you do convert to Canopus HQ, a separate drive is a really good idea.Hope this helps.
