Yes I have installed Symentec Drivers.I don't see any errors in the Event Viewer that would reflect this. There's nothing reflecting those ID Codes in this.I successfully used the tape drive last Week (14 December).
The next day, I came in and turned off the tape drive as I normally do. When before I left that night, I went through my normal routine of turning on the tape drive and logging into Backup Exec and it reported that the drive was 'offline' even though the device was on with a healthy tape in the drive. I then tried to force it online by right-clicking the device and checking 'online'. From there, the device has reported it is 'in use' when it is not. Similar restarts of the device and stopping/restarting of Backup Exec Services has resulted in one of those two messages from the device.
