I ran windows update (Vista) the other day and then restarted the CPU. It says 'configuring updates 1 of 3 0%' and then the screen flashes off and it says 'updates were not configured correctly, reverting changes.' Software receiver tanaka hd radio.
It then hangs for a minute and rebootsagain to repeat the cycle. It will loop like this forever. I have tried to start in safe mode but the same thing happens. I have got to restore option by turning off CPU during loop and then back on and while it goes thru the program, when it restarts it takesme right back to the loop. I can enter the bios screen. I saw a 'recovery disk' for this problem but it said it was only good for 7, so how do I fix this when I can't boot into windows?
